Watching a documentary on Karl Lagerfeld for Chanel...in one segment, Karl, Stephen Gan from V Magazine and some others went late night shopping at Dior Homme for a jacket (the boutique was closed for the Karl and the others.) Karl picked out a fierce gold lame windbreaker. Stephen Gan and the others all said "NO!" Karl asks, "This place we're going tonight, it's not bourgeois, no?" The editors mumble 'no' Karl says, "this jacket is perfect then!" Tense, quiet cab ride to the club. They all arrive, gogo boys, drag queens and pumping beats surround them. Karl says "No, this isn't bourgeois!" //
